FRENCH PATTERN TILES

French Pattern (Ashlar Pattern) is a combination of 4 sizes of tiles: 8x8, 8x16, 16x16 and 16x24. These four different sizes are installed randomly following the diagram provided, to break through the straight grout lines seen commonly in the traditional square tile installation.  It is unfilled and will have a pitted look, and the brushed and chiseled edge will give very casual Tuscan look to your project.  Since it is chiseled edge or tumbled edge, it will also save on installation costs because it can be installed with a thin set, compared to regular straight edge tiles which require mud-set at a cost almost double to that of the thin set installation.  French Pattern travertine tiles are a great choice for any interior and exterior spaces. The tile thickness (1/2") gives the advantage of installing them anywhere there are concrete slabs, including pool decks, walls, lanais and balconies.
